The Radical Power of Wearing presented a series of wearable images, that attendees were invited to reflect upon and dress in, as part of the Opening Up the Fashion Archive: Symposium on Rethinking Practices and Possibilities, held at The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) , curated by Dr. Todd Robinson and Dr. Ricarda Bigolin. By donning fabricated copies of images from commercial fashion magazines, those who took part were able to disrupt and reinvent the glossy ideals marketed to them by the fashion industry, through the interactions and interventions of their own bodies.
